How it works
Once your net wealth stays above the nisab for one lunar year, you give 2.5% of it. This tool adds your zakatable assets, subtracts debts due now, and compares the total to the nisab (the value of 87.48g gold or 612.36g silver — many use the lower silver figure). For details see zakat on gold and zakat on stocks.
Frequently asked questions

What is the nisab?
The minimum wealth before zakat is due: the value of 87.48g of gold or 612.36g of silver. Use today's local price per gram; many scholars prefer the lower silver figure.
